Monday-Friday 8:15am-2:30pm.
Provides and directs the provision of inpatient rehab-occupational therapy, based on agency policies and procedures, through the competent application of the occupational therapy process.
Education and Formal Training: Registered by the American Occupational Therapy Association or successfully completed the educational requirements of OT and licensed in the State of North Carolina. We offer extended training for new graduates.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Demonstrates a high level of mental and emotional tolerance and even temperament when dealing with ill people; uses tact, sensitivity, sound judgment and a professional attitude when relating with patients, families, and co-workers at all times. Actively functions as a patient advocate. Must develop knowledge of current CMS and TJC emergency policies and procedures, fire, safety, disaster, and infection control policies.
