What are the responsibilities and job description for the CERTIFIED STERILE PROCESSING TECH- TEAM LEADER position at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital?
Monday -Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm with Call Rotation
Responsible for overseeing all operations within a Sterile Processing Department (SPD), ensuring the safe and efficient reprocessing of medical instruments and supplies by managing staff, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with other healthcare departments to deliver sterile equipment for patient care, all while adhering to regulatory compliance.
High School diploma or equivalent and CCS certification.
Will have current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days of hire date.
Previous experience in sterile processing and leadership required.
