Responsibilities
- Perform high complexity testing as defined by CLIA 1988
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with hospital policy
- Provide excellent customer relations skills and work effectively with others
- Take direction from the Laboratory Director and work accurately and precisely in crisis and emergency situations
- Coordinate hands and fingers to make precise movements quickly and accurately
Requirements
- CPR certification
- Completion of general and job specific competencies
- High degree of integrity and studious habits
- Acceptance of demands on time and willingness to sacrifice in the interest of the profession
- Tact and understanding in dealing with patients
Work Environment
The incumbent will frequently be exposed to soap and water during hand washing and cleaning.
