About the Role:**
- Collaborate with the Director of Surgical Services to manage PreOp, IntraOp, PACU, and SPD areas, focusing on customer/patient care, staffing, policies, staff evaluations, and other tasks as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between unit personnel, medical staff, and hospital administration.
- Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in the management of units.
- Have 24-hour accountability for designated units with minimal call requirements.
Key Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program.
- Current valid North Carolina licensure as a Registered Nurse with biannual renewal.
- Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and CNOR.
- Progressive nursing experience required, with greater than three years' surgical services experience.
- Nurse leadership and preceptor experience.
