Summary
Patient Services Coordinator - front office position handling check-in/ check-out procedures for busy Orthopedic practice in Mt Airy NC and rotating to Elkin as needed. Duties include: answer phones, make and reschedule appointments, verify insurance, collect co-pays and balances due, gather medical records, create charts, update patient information, referrals, pre-certify procedures, misc other tasks - this is not a complete listing. Between office locations we handle as many as 100-250 patients a week with phones too.Greenway / Primesuite experience preferred but not required. Must be able to handle high volume and fast paced environment and be a team player. Knowledge of insurance terminology. Prefer 1-2 years of medical office experience but will consider training if applicant has customer service experience in other fields. Must be very organized and able to prioritize duties, self-starter with tasks and duties.
