Job Title: Service Technician

Work Location: United-Hughes, Levittown, PA

Position Summary

The main objective of the Onsite Service Technician is to proactively maintain equipment, perform repairs, onsite installation and test tasks while also representing the company in a professional and safe manner.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Tie workflow to schedule
• Manage all onsite installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Product timely and detailed service reports
• Document processes
• Operate vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems
• Follow all company procedures and protocols
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations and briefings
• Interact with customers in a professional manner
• Work safely and follow appropriate policies, and government mandated guidelines for safe handling and work processes
• Wear appropriate and approved clothing and safety equipment
• Coordinate, and prioritize needs and tasks as they change
• Meet industry performance and quality standards
• Cross departmental engagement with internal support teams to promote customer service, good teamwork and help meet company goals
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate will have:

• Experience: Packaging Machinery Preferred
• Education: Minimum high school diploma
• Licenses: driver's license in good standing
• Specific skills:
  • Mechanical ability
  • Ability to read instructions and diagrams
  • Familiarity with RSLogix a benefit.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is may be required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate machinery, stoop, bend or kneel
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to reading of related work documents, such as bills of lading, orders, documents, etc.
• Moderate to heavy lifting up to 50lbs may be required (some industrial machine assistance available)
