Purpose

The individual who assumes this role will sell these and other company services to industrial facilities throughout the Midwest.

Role and Responsibilities

• The Industrial Cleaning Sales Specialist is the business manager accountable for the leadership of all sales activity within a particular region, focusing on industrial facilities.
• High energy sales professional - goal oriented, success-driven individual with a record of producing budgeted results and earning the rewards of a top producer.
• Grow current client base in the assigned region and maintain current relationships. In addition, aggressively build new clients with a combination of networking, cold calling, and other sales and marketing activities to build a healthy industrial sales pipeline.
• Meet with Hughes’ clients throughout the assigned region to review potential project leads/inquires and assist in providing client solutions and generating project estimates.
• Review projects from lead sources and isolate effective bid opportunities.
• This individual will establish a product estimate for projects utilizing specifications, architectural drawings and other project documents with input from the customer.
• Will be responsible for the evaluation of the specification, drawings and other documentation on bid projects.
• Estimate project costs and develop scopes of work, perform site visits, and review specs and drawings. Secure any permits required for jobs.

Requirements

• Experience selling services to industrial facilities
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Above average communication, customer service, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel the Midwest territory to perform site visits and to provide estimates on projects; potentially 3-4 days per week of travel.
• Must be well organized and have the ability to work on his/her own.
• Must be proficient in MS Office and have an overall sound working knowledge of computers.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, and very strong self-belief. Driven to succeed with minimal supervision.
• Experience selling preventive maintenance agreements
• Should reside in the Kansas City, Missouri area.

Additional requirements

• Some college coursework, bachelor's degree preferred

• Prefer some experience with CRM Software
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

• COVID Vaccination - required at facilities to enter premises
• Valid Driver’s License and no DUI's!
• Reliable with positive attitude
• Must have initiative, a solid work ethic
• Work Independently
• Physical exam
• Lift 75 lbs.
• Work as part of a team resulting in success
• Professional demeanor and appearance

• Enclosed spaces (duct work)

• Knowledge of computers, programs and cellular apps
• Bilingual a plus!
