Daily Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate assignments to third-party repossession agencies.
- Review original loan documents and current credit reports for skip tracing to locate members.
- Coordinate with third-party business partners to facilitate repossession of collateral.
- Accurately create and send Notices of Intent to members
- Accurate processing of sales proceeds and tracking of back-end product refunds.
- Monitor and finalize any claims with third-party insurance carriers.
- Accurately create and send Notice of Deficiency Balance.
- Timely and accurate processing or reinstatements and redemptions.
- Properly maintain repossession tracking logs.
- Properly update charge off projection log.
- Effectively manage assigned queue to maximize productivity and meet or exceed goals.
- Review account history and evaluate appropriate next steps.
- Communicate directly with members and effectively discuss resolution options.
- Communicate with third-party business partners in the course of duties.
- Document all actively within the electronic collection software platform.
- Ensure compliance with internal policy and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with associate regulations including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)/
- Utilize all existing phone numbers, residence, and employer information to contact members.
- Notify senior collection staff or collection manager of serious collection issues on an account.
- Minimum of 6 months of similar or related experience.
- Equivalent to a high school education
