Job Title: Warehouse Specialist
Reports to: Director of Government Services
Location: JBLM, WA
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: 07:30 – 16:30 (subject to change due to site requirements)
Description: Performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the Military establishment's storage plan to include receive, unpack, arrange, store goods/merchandise, gather, pack, prepare and load goods for dispatching. Checks supplies for damage and wear, reports faults and discrepancies to relevant parties, and mark and label stock according to SOP’s.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Verifies materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents.
- Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
- Routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
- Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
- Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
- Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage.
- Removing materials from storage and preparing for shipment.
- Operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to pass a background check and attain security clearance if required.
- Must be able to pass random drug testing (as required).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Familiarity with warehouse software such as inventory management systems.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of basic math and computer skills, including the ability to use inventory and logistics software.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
- Physically strong, agile, and dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.
- Ability to operate forklift proficiently to include Pallet Jack.
- Ability to properly speak and have command of the language to properly explain or give instructions to staff or customers.
- May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail.
