Position Summary: The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for basic accounts payable duties, will require an understanding of accounting codes and classifications, and the accuracy and adherence to established firm policies and procedures of accounts payable invoices and expenses entered into the firm accounting system.

- Review and process a high level of invoices and expenses using Chrome River.
- Review and process travel and entertainment expenses.
- Enter branch offices vouchers and petty cash into Elite.
- Maintain and update W-9 file in iManage.
- Answer all AP related questions from both vendors and employees and resolve in a timely manner.
- Pull back-up when requested and work on any AP related projects that arise.
Position Specific Skills and Requirements:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Word & Excel – required.
- Experience with: Elite 3E accounting software for AP – preferred.
- Experience with Chrome River – preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills – required.
Education and General Requirements:
- At least two years of post-secondary education with finance or accounting coursework required.
- BA Degree.
- Minimum of two years AP-related experience required.
- Possess well-developed and professional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels within the firm.
- Ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus.
