Belt Operator : Monroe , Wisconsin

Our customer in Monroe, Wisconsin is seeking to fill a Belt Operator position. The Belt Operator is responsible for all aspects of operating the belt.

Belt Operator Responsibilities :

Monitor belt operations during production such as belt speed, salter system, agitators etc.
Certified in LOTO and Confined Space entry.
Validate make recipes to belt operations.
Collect product samples for further chemistry testing.
Communicate any food safety related issues to supervisor or managers.
Monitor and operate CIP systems for multiple pieces of equipment.
Communicate to Cheesemakers, supervisors and fill operators on schedule.
Perform and follow SSOP’s on designated area of cleaning.
Follow proper GMP’s, PPE’s and chemical handling practices.
Understand chemical usages and purposes.

Qualifications for Belt Operator :

This position is fast paced and mentally demanding.

Will require knowledge of full manual cleaning of drain belt, operate CIP circuits and change machine over to CIP.

Workday is spent standing and walking with frequent bending, pushing, and climbing.

Possess organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to pay close attention to the details.

Capable of following directions given; consistency is crucial to the position.

Must have proficient manual dexterity to perform routine functions.

Sanitation experience in a food production environment.

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Strong listening skills and ask questions to understand instructions for work-related activities.

Pay for Belt Operator : $20.34 / hour
