Assistant Machine Operator : Fort Atkinson , Wisconsin
Our customer located in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin is a growing company that is committed to providing excellent service to their customers while producing a quality work. The ideal candidate would be a motivated individual that can contribute to the overall success of the company.
Job Functions of an Assistant Machine Operator :
- Assist the machine operator with starting, stopping, and adjusting machinery to ensure smooth operation.
- Monitor machine performance and output to identify any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Help prepare and set up machinery for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting settings as required.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency, following established standards and procedures.
- Report any defects or issues to the machine operator and assist in troubleshooting and resolving problems.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products.
- Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed (training may be provided).
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, including quantities produced, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
- Provide regular updates to the machine operator and other team members regarding production progress and any concerns.
- Work closely with the machine operator and other team members to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, and operational standards.
Assistant Machine Operator Requirements and Qualifications :
Pay for Assistant Machine Operator : Starting at $17 / hour.
Assistant Machine Operator Benefits :
Type : 1st Shift, Full-time
Schedule : Monday – Friday from 6 : 00am – 2 : 00pm.
