Key Responsibilities :

Program Development : Create precise programs for multi-axis Swiss lathes using Esprit software, including detailed setup plans.

Technical Analysis : Interpret blueprints and optimize machine settings and cutting paths for efficiency and quality.

Quality Assurance : Conduct inspections to ensure products meet specifications and troubleshoot production issues.

Process Optimization : Drive continuous improvement initiatives and develop innovative tooling and machining processes.

Leadership : Mentor machinists, train new team members, and foster clear communication within the department.

Maintenance & Safety : Perform basic machine upkeep and enforce safety and quality standards.

Industry Knowledge : Stay current on CNC Swiss lathe advancements to enhance operational excellence.

Skills & Experience :

Education : HSD, required, Vocational School or Apprenticeship, preferred

Experience : 5 years’ experience programming Swiss Lathes machines / parts, REQUIRED

Knowledge : Strong mathematical skills & the ability to read blueprints, required

Software : Mastercam, required, Esprit, preferred

Pay : $35.00 - $45.00 / hour based on experience, OT available
