Job Description:
The Business Unit Manager role plays a pivotal part in ensuring seamless collaboration between customers and the shop floor. This position requires strong technical knowledge of manufacturing and engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the shop floor, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations for assigned business units.
- Assist sales staff by answering technical questions related to manufacturing and engineering processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience in a related field OR 10 years of relevant experience if no degree, required.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing & engineering processes AND mechanical aptitude with experience in marketing products to machine tool builders and end users, required.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, Excel, Word & Windows, required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, continuous improvement mindset, and customer-focused approach, required.
