Maintenance Technician : Dakota, IL
Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program and reduce unscheduled downtime. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and facility support equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze equipment issues and perform necessary repairs
- Conduct mechanical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility equipment
- Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and validate repairs
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Troubleshoot equipment and plant mechanical systems to develop sustainable solutions
- Complete assigned work orders efficiently and maintain accurate records
- Assist with equipment changeovers and line startups, troubleshooting as needed
- Identify required parts and maintain inventory for timely reorders
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and provide process improvement suggestions
- Continue developing maintenance and leadership skills through assigned training
- Support Facility Maintenance, as needed

Pay : $23.00 - $28.00 / hour
Type : Full-time, 1st Shift, On-site, 12-hour Shifts
Schedule : Monday – Friday & rotating weekends 5 : 00 a.m. – 6 : 00 p.m. (i.e. week 1 = 48 hours / week, week 2 = 36 hours / week.)
