Material Handler / Packer: Delavan, Wisconsin
Our client in Delavan, Wisconsin is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join their team as a Material Handler - Packer. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth handling of raw materials, inventory control, and packing for shipment.
Responsibilities of the Material Handler / Packer:
- Receive and verify all raw materials and packages (UPS/FedEx) against purchase orders
- Inspect raw materials and issue RIR tags; request additional inspections if needed
- Use forklift, combi lift, and manual carts to move materials to appropriate areas
- Operate saws and handle move tickets for raw materials
- Manually wash manufactured parts using solvent, air hose, degreaser, and spinner
- Pack parts for shipment as assigned, and move material using forklifts
- Assist with maintaining inventory control and collaborate with Quality Assurance for daily inspections
Material Handler / Packer Requirements and Qualifications:
- 2 years of warehouse experience
- Forklift experience and certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and data entry systems (ERP, Microsoft Office)
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and time management
- Physical ability to regularly sit, stand, stoop, crouch, and lift materials
- Ability to read and interpret documents, blueprints, and instructions in English
- Must exhibit integrity, accountability, and adherence to safety and quality standards
Pay: $19/hour
