Senior Production Superintendent : Monticello, WI

Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for operational excellence? Our client is looking for a hands-on Senior Production Superintendent to oversee and optimize daily production operations, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and lead a high-performing team. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze KPI’s, troubleshoot production issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for labor allocation, workflow optimization, equipment maintenance coordination, and ensuring on-time production schedules. Key Responsibilities :

Lead Production Operations

Oversee daily production activities, ensuring processes run efficiently and safely
Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive productivity
Optimize labor allocation, line performance, and workflow for maximum output
Identify challenges and implement solutions

Develop & Inspire a High-Performing Team

Supervise and mentor a diverse production team, including foremen, operators, and sanitation personnel

Provide ongoing training to enhance problem-solving skills and technical expertise

Implement performance-based incentives to encourage team growth

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Ensure Quality, Safety & Compliance

Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies

Address equipment, material, and staffing issues

Conduct routine quality checks and take immediate corrective actions when needed

Lead weekly meetings focused on production goals, efficiency, and safety

Drive Strategic Improvements

Utilize data-driven insights (OEE, KPI tracking) to refine processes and boost efficiency

Collaborate with supply chain and planning teams to optimize inventory flow

Maintain accurate records, production schedules, and shift reports

Ensure timely response to key communications and operational needs

Skills & Experience :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, required

Experience : 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment, required

Knowledge : Mechanical aptitude & deep understanding of manufacturing equipment & processes, required

Software : Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production tracking systems, required

Type : Full-time, 1st Shift, On-site

Schedule : Monday – Thursday 5 : 00 a.m. – 4 : 00 p.m.; Half-day on Friday, as needed
