Winder Operator - 2nd Shift : Beloit, Wisconsin
Our customer in Beloit, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Winder Operators to work full-time on 2nd shift. As a Winder Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating winding machines to roll materials onto spools, ensuring consistent tension, quality, and proper winding procedures, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities of the Winder Operator :
- Set up machinery per job specifications, ensuring safety, quality, and the application of lean strategies.
- Log into jobs and record production data, including closing work orders and moving orders to finished goods for shipping.
- Read work orders or production schedules to determine materials, cutting lines, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Position guides, stops, and fixtures using hand tools and measuring devices to secure workpieces.
- Operate machines to cut, shear, slit, punch, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic materials.
- Examine completed workpieces for defects, measure conformance to specifications, and prepare materials for shipping.
Winder Operator Requirements and Qualifications :
Pay for Winder Operator : $18 / hour.
Winder Operator Benefits :
Type : 2nd Shift, Full-time
Schedule : Monday - Friday from 2 : 00pm – 10 : 00pm with possible OT on Saturday 6am-2pm.
