Our client in Oregon, Illinois is seeking reliable, hard-working individuals to join their production team. As a Machine Operator, you will support various tasks to ensure smooth production operations.
Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
- Perform simple, routine, and repetitive tasks under supervision
- Assist machine operators and maintain production flow
- Use standard tools and equipment for basic tasks
- Complete yard maintenance or non-production duties as needed
- Assemble standard components and clean units and parts
- Support non-production maintenance or warehouse duties
- Follow safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Machine Operator Requirements:
- Skills can be gained through practical experience or on-the-job training
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Physically capable of frequent climbing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 55 pounds, with occasional loads up to 80 pounds
Pay Rates & Shift Options:
1st Shift: $16.00/hour
- 9-hour shift: 5:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. or 6:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- 10-hour shift: 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Monday – Friday, with voluntary 5-hour shifts on Saturdays
2nd Shift: $18.25/hour
- Monday – Thursday, 3:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Overtime when required on Fridays
