A metal recycling company with a proud 125-year legacy in the industry is seeking a General Laborer to join their team. They are committed to sustainability and innovation and need reliable individuals to help maintain their reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities of the General Laborer:
Material Handling:
- Sort, load, and unload ferrous metals.
- Safely handle and move materials as directed.
Equipment Operation:
- Operate machinery or tools to support daily tasks (training provided).
- Use power tools for specific projects as needed.
Work Environment Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
Team Collaboration:
- Support various production tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
General Laborer Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must wear steel-toed shoes during shifts.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Stamina, strength, and good hand-eye coordination.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or industrial setting is a plus but not required.
Pay for General Laborer: Starting at $18 / hour.
