Machine Operator : Freeport, Illinois
Our customer in Freeport, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Machine Operators to work full-time on 3rd shift. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of various machinery, maintaining safety and quality standards, and contributing to a team-oriented environment to meet production goals.
Responsibilities of the Machine Operator :
- Operate and maintain various machines, including conventional, special-purpose, and numerical control (NC) machines.
- Ensure the machine is running at the proper cycle time and verify the conformance of the finished workpiece to specifications.
- Set up and dismantle unit assembly and subassembly workstations as needed.
- Secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials for machining.
- Organize and prioritize work tasks to meet deadlines, maintaining quality and minimizing potential issues.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes, promote quality, and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Machine Operator Requirements and Qualifications :
Pay for Machine Operator : Starting at $17 / hour.
Machine Operator Benefits :
Type : 3rd Shift, Full-time
Schedule : Sunday - Thursday (with Friday overtime and every 3rd Friday off)
from 11 : 00PM – 7 : 00 AM
