General Laborer : Rockford , Illinois
Our customer in Rockford, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting General Laborers to work full-time on 3rd shift. As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including inspecting and stacking products, ensuring proper packaging, reworking and repacking items, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and assisting with palletizing and handling materials according to customer specifications and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities of the General Laborer :
- Remove plastic from cases safely, ensuring proper disposal of materials.
- Inspect products according to customer requirements, checking for defects such as bad seals, date codes, and damages.
- Rewrap cases using appropriate film to meet customer standards and ensure proper packaging.
- Stack cases according to designated patterns, ensuring compliance with customer specifications.
- Inspect cases during stacking for damages, deformities, or improper packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, removing any debris or hazardous materials.
General Laborer Requirements and Qualifications :
Pay for General Laborer : Starting at $15.50 / hour with $1 shift differential.
General Laborer Benefits :
Type : 3rd Shift, Full-time
Schedule : Monday - Friday from 11 : 00pm-6 : 00am (Mandatory OT may be required).
