Materials Management Intern

EchoStar has an exciting opportunity in our Hughes Network Systems division for a Materials Management Intern. This position will be located at our manufacturing/operations facility in Germantown, MD.

Responsibilities

• Support the supply chain team in daily operations, including inventory management and logistics.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and managing stock levels.
• Work with various departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Participate in initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare reports and presentations on supply chain performance metrics.
• Assist in the development and implementation of supply chain strategies.
  
  

Basic Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Must have 60 credit hours completed by June 2025
• 3.0 GPA or above

• Eager to learn and apply new skills in a real-world environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Prior internship or work experience in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
  
  

Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $49,000.00 - $70,000.00
