What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapy Aide Part Time position at Hughston Clinic?
Position Goal
Perform designated routine tasks related to the operation of the occupational therapy service and may assist with patient related activities which are pre determined for each patient and
assigned by the Occupational Therapist.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assists the Occupational Therapists in service delivery for therapeutic exercise and wound care.
- Responsible for maintaining/cleaning clinic equipment and workstations.
- Responsible for inventory and ordering clinic supplies as needed
- Assists in administrative clinic duties such as answering phone, scheduling appointments, OSHA record keeping, reporting, filing, reviewing/completing insurance paperwork etc
- Responsible for the coordination/flow of patients while in the hand clinic
- General cleaning of equipment used in OT services.
Experience: None required. Prior experience in health care setting and medical terminology preferred.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
Special Qualifications:
Required:
- Must maintain BLS Certification.
- Must have basic computer and office equipment experience.
