Cost Accountant

Key Responsibilities of Cost Accountant:
- Conduct cost audits and financial analysis to support business operations.
- Investigate cost variances (IPV/PPV), identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introductions and process improvements.
- Support inventory management by analyzing valuation, forecasting, and reconciliation activities.
- Oversee the physical inventory process, ensuring accuracy in reporting and cycle counts.
What You Bring:
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience in financial modeling.
- Familiarity with Oracle is a plus.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret financial data.
- Must be local to Charleston, SC, as this role requires onsite work 4-5 days per week.
