Shift : Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm
Location: 2302 Lone Star Rd. Ste 260, Mansfield, TX 76063
The role you’ll contribute:
A Medical Scribe is there to accompany the physician into the patient examination room to transcribe a history and physical exam, and document accurately the physician’s encounter with the patient and others present. Scribes will not perform any hands-on tasks with a patient.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Accompany physician into the patient examination room in order to transcribe a history and physical exam, and document accurately the physician’s encounter with the patient and others present.
- List all proper diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow up instructions.
- Document any procedures performed by the physician.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and management.
- Other duties as assigned.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
Minimum qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred qualifications:
- 6 months or more of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
