Job Summary
To manage and develop business at new chain accounts to achieve maximum profitability. The position will require the ability to penetrate account organizations beyond purchasing and into marketing, QA, R&D and Senior Management for the development of long-term business relationships that lead to optimal product and company exposure.
Provide maximum sales return by driving productivity in sales process and through existing account management and incremental product placements at current and new accounts.
Essential Functions
- Expand product line sales within new customers via new product/concept utilization, packaging changes/enhancements and alignment with division’s asset base.
- Develop and implement an outline for meeting division’s sales plan against targeted accounts.
- Expand Huhtamaki family of businesses and capitalize where possible on the Chinetâ brand; build exposure and sales volume through new customers via capabilities presentations, corporate contacts with key personnel, product presentations, trade conferences and other interfacing opportunities.
- Coordinate and manage through necessary support groups within the Huhtamaki organization to meet or exceed customers’ needs while delivering on divisional objectives.
Job Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, sales, or related field
- Experience in Huhtamaki business functions
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as CRM software
- The ability to build rapport with key clients
- The ability to handle multiple client accounts
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
