Job Summary
Perform a wide range of duties to troubleshoot, maintain and repair simple and complex production and facility maintenance on equipment. Primarily responsible for shift’s maintenance and repair of machines; facility grounds and electrical projects.
Essential Functions
- Work safely at all times
- Exercise the skills to stick weld and mig weld
- Actively support operations, safety, sanitation, building, and quality goals for the plant
- Provide technical leadership and support to the production areas
- Responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of the equipment used to print and form product
- Meet the company’s general requirements for safety, attendance, productivity, and quality
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, lead persons, and operators on all work-related matters
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
Required
- Physically capable of moderate to heavy physical efforts equivalent to frequently lifting or moving average weight of parts or materials over 50% of the time
- Continuous mental and visual attention when preforming diversified operations of activities that require constant alertness
- Twisting, crouching, pushing/pulling, climbing, bending, kneeling, and standing is required over 50% of the time
- Work schedule of 12-hour shifts, with additional overtime possible. Must be flexible to work different shifts
- Must have the ability to stand, walk and bend frequently during the shift
- Candidate must have the ability to work in various ambient temperatures, climb stairs, bend, crouch, twist as needed all within the manufacturing environment
Preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Industrial Maintenance experience is a plus
