Job Responsibilities

Develop personal process mastery / SME status for assigned (owned) areas:
- Provide technical understanding and sense of urgency in solving problems
- Update and develop maintenance procedures (Playbooks, PM Task Lists, JSA’s, LOTO Procedures)

Develop expertise on:
- Mainsaver
- Systems (CL, AM, Defect Handlint)
- Established problem solving tools (Breakdown Analysis)

Act as an training owner for the Breakdown Analysis, AM, Maintenance Procedures:
- Integrate systems and business processes
- Train and coach Maintenance Technicians
- Participate in AM / daily planned stop activities for the area
- Lead AM teams
- Lead Breakdown Analysis as needed and implement countermeasures

Define data-based issues / opportunities for maintenance department:
- Document desired results / objectives
- Analyze data and present in graphical format
- Maintain a prioritized list of issues / opportunities (including benchmarking)

Develop and implement solutions to systemic or chronic problems:
- Identify reapplication opportunities from benchmarking
- Utilize appropriate problem solving approach
- Document successes for reapplication

Drive process stability:
- Prioritize areas to stabilize
- Determine root causes and develop and execute action plans

Support training needs:
- Train and coach technicians on JSA’s, LOTO, Playbooks/Procedures, Breakdown Analysis and more as needed.
- Identify training opportunities
- Establish training validation schedules
- Utilize training processes to validate knowledge and capability
- Isssue validation training to employees

Lead the development of Maintenance Technicians:

- Performance feedback
- Teamwork development
- Individual recognition
- Reinforce standards

Audit processes and systems in and outside of your assigned areas:
- 5s/Safety Audits
- AM Audits
- PM Audits including lubrication, forming pm’s, cutting die pm’s etc…
- Overall System Audits
