Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
This list is not all encompassing and other duties may be assigned.
Perform all tasks in a safe manner and adhere to all safety policies/procedures.
Review SQF (Safe Quality Food) Code: Manufacture of Food Packaging and become familiar with the code and evaluate our documents, procedures and programs against the code and other auditing bodies to ensure overall conformance.
Attend HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points) Training and become HACCP Certified.
Attend Internal Auditing training and help train the Food Safety/Food Defense team and supervisors in Internal Auditing.
Complete the required SQF training and testing and become a SQF Practitioner. (This can only be completed after HACCP training is done).
Help complete a Pre-Assessment and a mock audit.
Help to apply/register Coleman to become SQF certified.
Help Select a Certification Body and identify the scope of our audits.
Help schedule/complete the desk audit.
Help schedule/complete a corporate audit.
Help schedule/complete a site audit.
Help organize/create all policies, procedures and work instructions.
Assist in various quality tasks.
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience
High school graduate or GED equivalent. Computer experience required. Familiarity with Quality systems desired, but not required.
Communication/Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents including, but not limited to, safety rules, policies, procedures, quality specifications, and written reports or correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in a standardized situation.

Employee must have sufficient hearing to be aware of sirens and horns which alert people to danger.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job the employee will work in an environment with:
- above normal heat conditions
- noise levels exceeding 90 decibels
- light dust in the air
- flashing lights
- sirens and horns
- powered moving equipment passing nearby
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Employee must be able to work various hours and various shifts which may include overtime. The facility is a 24/7 operation which includes weekdays and weekends. Maintaining good attendance is required.
