This position will be key in supporting the overall pricing functions of the business and ensuring pricing accuracy across various platforms and customer accounts.
Essential Functions
- Pricing: Maintain pricing for the Foodservice Market within ERP. Review updates to pricing prior to issuing a new price in the system. Coordinate with Customer Service to address and resolve pricing issues noted on incoming Purchase Orders. Backup system admin for new user access and system configuration. Assist with testing of system updates.
- Quoting: Collaborate with Account Managers regarding program updates and pricing changing monthly. Approve programs in pricing software and generating proper documentation for Account Managers in the Food Service Market. Produce quotes for opportunities that are ran outside of the pricing system for Food Service.
- Training and Support: Work with pricing team to provide training and support to users of the pricing system. Assist with development and maintaining of user guides and training materials.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product management, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless pricing and address any issues that arise.
- Process Optimization: Continuously improve pricing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risks. Implement best practices and automated workflows within the pricing system.
- Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports on compliance and other key metrics. Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and process improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Intermediate level skills with Excel, Word, DocuShare, and ERP.
- Must be willing to work overtime when necessary.
- Office management / customer service skills.
- Must possess the ability to read and analyze support received for deductions.
- Requires strong interpersonal skills, tact, and persuasiveness.
- Ability to interact professionally with internal departments and external contacts as required to investigate/resolve deductions and implement corrective action as needed.
- Strong mathematical skills required.
- Ability to problem solve with minimal supervision, manage multiple deadlines, and resolve disputes with efficiency and professionalism.
- Ability to anticipate future consequences and trends accurately.
- Ability and willingness to take initiative in researching and providing resolution for issues that create recurring deductions.
- Ability to understand the order/billing process and the effect of any outside programs.
- 1-3 years pricing or related experience, preferred associate degree or higher
