What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paintline & Assembly Technician - Weekend Shift position at HUI Manufacturing, Inc?
HUI has immediate openings on our weekend shift for Powder Coating & Assembly Technicians. Work 3 days and be off for 4 days! Plus, HUI has a great training program, so there is no experience necessary!
Hourly pay starting at $21.00 with a $2.50 hourly shift premium. Working hours are from 4:00am - 4:00pm on Friday - Sunday. In addition, you will receive 2 additional hours of pay for perfect attendance every weekend!
Responsibilities
As a Paintline Technician, you will be trained in one or more of the following skills:
- Powder Coating
- Load
- Unload
- Assembly
After training in one of these areas, you can expect opportunities to train in another skill, earning you more pay as you learn and grow!
You may also train and perform additional tasks like masking, forklift operation, or flexing to our fabrication area as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to pass a pre-employment screening
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent

No experience in manufacturing is necessary. New employees participate in a robust training program designed to get you the skills they need to be successful. Basic training starts with exposure to our load area, as well as powder coating paint instruction, unload and assembly. We strive to find a skill specialization for our new employees where they feel comfortable and that plays to their strengths.
