Role Description : Huitt-Zollars, Inc has full time opportunities for drafters in our Rio Rancho office with a minimum 3-5 years' experience. The Drafter position is to assist Civil Project Managers with Public Works type projects. This position will be responsible for creating and maintaining civil engineering drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Some assigned projects will vary in size and complexity. Drafter will at times work independently or with a team at the direction from the Project Manager.

Duties / Responsibilities :
- Creates drawings using AutoCad Civil 3D.
- Works in conjunction with CADD drafters and technicians to complete assigned projects.
- Exercises and applies commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Establishes and monitors deadlines for assigned tasks and projects which vary in size and complexity.
- Conducts own quality QA / QC reviews of all drawings and drawing packages before submitting to the Project Manager.
- Attends Project Managers Conference calls or Project Kickoff meetings when invited by the Project Manager.
- Works with x-ref and data shortcut supported drawing files.
- Works as a team.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
