Civil Engineering - EIT
Role Description : Huitt-Zollars has a great full-time opportunity for a Civil Engineering EIT at our Sherman, TXoffice. The candidate will work collaborative in a team environment supporting project managers with a variety of civil engineering projects. This position has significant growth opportunities for the right candidate.
Location : Sherman, TX (on-site)
Employment Type : 40 FT Hours
Reports to : Project Manager or Vice President / Principal-in-Charge
Compensation Type : Salary
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
Duties :
- Produce design and construction drawings using information from supervisor, research data, and input from consultants.
- Produce design plans for public agency and private development projects.
- Plan production will include preparations of plan and profiles of streets and other underground utilities.
- Assist project manager with of design plans, specifications, construction support, cost estimating, geotechnical coordination.
- Research materials and assemblies for design and construction drawings as directed by supervisor.
- Conduct site visits and assist with documenting findings.
- Attend, record, and distribute meeting minutes, and assist with general project correspondence.
- Compose and prepare graphic materials for presentations and documents.
