What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Specialist position at Huk Gear?
The Marketing Specialist is an important role on the Brand Marketing team supporting key initiatives across our outbound communication channels. This highly collaborative role requires a hunger to learn and adapt, attention to detail, drive to ensure execution of projects, and strong communication skills to keep teams included along the way.
- Support brand initiatives across all elements of the marketing mix, interacting with other functions within the organization to deliver against project objectives.
- Support Brand lead in building the seasonal GTM calendar and manage day to day deliverables to execute the plan.
- Support Brand lead with project management of key campaigns through cross-functional collaboration with Ecom, Media, Social, and Creative teams. Lead calendar and stage gate timing to ensure smooth execution from brief to deployment.
- Partner with Creative team on content shoot needs including production planning and management, pulling and organizing product, uploading final selects to DAM, and accurate product tagging to ensure findability
- Own seasonal studio photoshoot process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of on-body assets to support key go-live dates across the enterprise
- Be a student of our core consumers and help ensure implementation of our consumer first strategy gets pushed throughout the organization
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field required
- 1-2 years of experience in a related marketing position preferred but not required
- Passion for consumer brands and the outdoors
- Passion and curiosity to continuously seek out opportunities and ideas to strengthen and grow your business with a bias for action to quickly adapt and execute on the needs of the business.
- Attention to detail and highly organized with the ability to support multiple projects at once
- Analytical skills with desire to learn how to translate market, sales, and consumer data into actionable marketing strategies
