Club Security - Part Time

Position Summary : Hourly pay range is $17 per hour to $17 per hour

We are seeking a Night Club Security Guard who is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons, staff, and performers. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, professional, and capable of handling high-pressure situations. This role includes managing entry points, enforcing club policies, handling disputes, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. A strong emphasis is placed on customer service, conflict resolution, and safety. This position reports to the General Manager.

Job Duties :

• Monitor Entry : Check IDs and verify the legal age of all patrons entering the club, ensuring compliance with local alcohol regulations.
• Crowd Control : Manage the crowd to prevent overcrowding and ensure that all patrons are behaving in accordance with club rules.
• Patrol the Premises : Perform regular patrols of the club, including the performance floor / stage, VIP areas, restrooms, and outdoor spaces, to identify and handle any potential issues.
• Handle Conflicts : Respond to disturbances or altercations between patrons and resolve conflicts swiftly and professionally, de-escalating situations where possible.
• Enforce Club Policies : Ensure all patrons are following the club’s code of conduct, including dress codes, intoxication levels, and behavior standards.
• Escort Unruly Patrons : Safely and discreetly remove patrons who are intoxicated, disruptive, or otherwise pose a risk to the safety of others.
• Monitor Security Systems : Observe video surveillance to identify and address security risks and report any suspicious behavior or breaches.
• Emergency Response : Act quickly in case of emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, or other situations that require immediate attention. Coordinate with local authorities as needed.
• Support Staff Safety : Ensure the safety of bartenders, servers, and other club staff, intervening if they are harassed or threatened by patrons.
• Collaborate with Law Enforcement : Work with local police or other authorities when necessary, such as reporting incidents, sharing information, or following up on investigations.
• End-of-Night Procedures : Assist with closing procedures, such as clearing the premises, securing exits, and ensuring no patrons remain on the property after hours.
