Position Summary
The Server is responsible for curating a memorable dining and service experience for our guests. first impression of our service focused restaurant. Server’s will be responsible for providing high-levels of customer service to all restaurant guests by providing prompt service, taking accurate orders, and maintaining a strong working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials. Server’s will perform customer service duties in a friendly and professional manner at all times and ensure that the customers have an enjoyable dining experience. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the proper setting of tables, removing used dishes and place settings, assisting with cleaning duties, and complying with all restaurant policies and procedures. This role reports to the General Manager.
Job Duties
- Greet customers and take food and beverage orders from guests and ring into POS in a proper accurate fashion where the BOH will understand and execute in an efficient manner.
- Professionally communicate with all staff so that a guest’s dining experience is completed in a seamless yet joyful manner Adheres to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking guests’ identification
- Maintain high levels of food knowledge of all menu items, including items available at the bar to ensure guest safety.
- Always be courteous with our guests as well as coworkers.
- Clean designated areas, in accordance with daily side work, including opening and closing routines and following hygiene requirements.
- Adhere to HUKL safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
- Ensure that customers are correctly charged, present the bill and take payment from the customer, in accordance with the procedures of the establishment.
- Other duties as assigned.
