ACCOUNTING MANAGER
We’re looking for an experienced manager / accounting professional to manage our Accounting Department. In this position, you’ll oversee the department’s tasks and staff, with duties such as :
- Oversight of general accounting matters such as credit cards, receivables, purchasing, fleet, inventory, allocations, reporting, working with external CPA on annual tax matters, month end and year end closing process, etc.
- Oversee Payroll process Payroll Clerks, ensure timely accurate payroll garnishment processing, batch review, 401 deferral transmissions, payroll allocations, recordkeeping, allocations, and provide and / or ensure vacation coverage.
- Oversee Accounts Payable process and AP Clerk, ensure timely accurate payment processing, recordkeeping, allocations, and provide and / or ensure vacation coverage.
- Responsible for all benefits accounting, reconciliation payment of carrier vendor invoices, reporting, COBRA reimbursement, 401 deferrals, tasks associated with audit, etc.
- All accounting, recordkeeping, and reporting associated with advertising.
- Cross training staff, providing coverage, performance management, coaching, reviews, selection, hiring, onboarding, etc.
- Provide assistance to Controller as needed.
- Responsible for oversight of all current and new Accounting Payroll Software
