Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, OSHA 30-certified Bilingual Safety Supervisor (English/Spanish) to oversee safety programs and compliance within our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe working environment by enforcing regulations, conducting training, and promoting a safety-first culture across all shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce OSHA standards and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments in the warehouse.
- Lead and facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and trainings in both English and Spanish.
- Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and training materials tailored to warehouse operations.
- Investigate workplace accidents and near misses; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed safety records, including incident reports, training logs, and inspection checklists.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and that all safety equipment is available and in working condition.
- Serve as a liaison between management and staff on all safety matters, ensuring open and effective communication.
- Monitor safety performance and track key metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist with emergency response planning, drills, and evacuation procedures.
- Stay up to date with OSHA updates and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification (Required)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required)
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety practices and equipment
- Ability to train, coach, and influence employees at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (occasional weekends or evenings may be required)
- Some overtime may be necessary based on operational needs
