As our Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will lead our supply chain strategy, ensuring we meet business goals while maintaining high-quality standards. You will play a critical role in leading strategy and processes as an individual contributor, including inventory management, procurement optimization, and production planning across multiple locations. What You’ll Do:
- Production Coordination: Oversee production planning, ensuring schedules align with inventory and customer demands.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with our company goals.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and optimize inventory levels to minimize excess while ensuring product availability.
- Procurement Excellence: Cultivate strong supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all activities meet industry regulations and maintain our high-quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance processes, including automation and new tools for planning efficiency.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, operations, and other departments to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives and enhance communication across teams.
- Cost Reduction & Strategic Purchasing: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategic purchasing plans.
- Logistics Management: Coordinate shipping and receiving to streamline processes and address logistical challenges.
- Data Analysis: Dive into supply chain data to identify improvement opportunities and implement innovative solutions.
What You Bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7 years of experience in supply chain/procurement within the manufacturing sector (international sourcing experience preferred).
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems, ideally NetSuite or Oracle.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in production planning.
- A proactive, self-motivated mindset with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel less than 10% of time.
