Job Details
We are looking for someone that loves children! The associates that work in our childcare centers are responsible for maintaining a safe and loving environment for our ARC children.
Morning help needed! Monday through Saturday, 8:00am to 1:00pm shifts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work together with the ARC DT childcare staff so that we have cohesiveness between the two clubs
- Maintain a safe environment for children, communicate with GM if safety issues arise
- Be present and work all scheduled hours
- Communicate with GM to help keep the childcare room fresh; including making sure toys and furnishings are updated and in working condition.
- Assist with a quarterly children’s program event, including, but not limited to Parent’s Night Out
- Changing diapers, feeding babies, getting snacks, rocking babies playing and interacting with all children.
- Cleaning room and toys
- Greeting parents
- Working with parents if they have special childcare needs
- Being mindful of the number of children in the room, staffing ratios
Job Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- At least 3 years of experience in working with children
- A degree in Early Childcare Development is recommended
- Management experience recommended
KNOWLEDGE and/or SKILLS:
- Strong interpersonal/problem solving skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Strong managerial abilities
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common business manuals, memos and documents. Applicant should also be able to communication effectively through typed/written memos, notes, and e-mails.

Salary : $12 - $14
