Lead Cook
We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to come play a important and exciting role at beautiful Homestead Country Club. Come join our team that provides excellent dining experiences for our club members, whether it's in our full-service restaurant or at our pool side patio.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare outstanding meals for our members.
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and consistent manner.
- Maintain a clean and prepared station at all times.
- Utilize time efficiently to ensure quality of service.
- Ability to use kitchen equipment including but not limited to: ovens, grills, broilers, fryers, steam tables, knives, etc.
- Completes all assigned prep and checklist functions as specified by supervisor during working shift.
- Responsible for ensuring that all food is properly handled, labeled and stored.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least one (1) year of previous experience in a kitchen environment is required.
- Must be a motivated team-oriented individual that can maintain professionalism.
- Must be able to represent Homestead Country Club in a polite and courteous manner to our club members.
- Ability to prepare a diverse variety cuisine from basic club food to more sophisticated entrees.
- Display a positive attitude and work hard.
