Title: Azure Solution Architect Location: Hybrid but now can be local to NY/NJ or REMOTE for a ROCKSTAR
Duration: 12 months contract with possible extension
Role Overview: Azure Solution Architect with expertise in cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure PaaS (Platform as a Service) solutions, Jenkins migration, and the Microsoft Power Platform, along with a deep understanding of enterprise architecture best practices.
This role involves designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions that support business objectives, with a focus on Azure, DevOps pipelines, and integration with Power Platform services.Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable, resilient, and secure Azure PaaS solutions to meet business needs.
- Lead and support Jenkins migration efforts to streamline and modernize DevOps pipelines.
- Design and implement solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams to design integrated cloud-based solutions.
- Establish and maintain DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code.
- Document and deliver best practices for solution architecture, cloud optimization, and system integration.
- Ensure compliance with security, performance, and scalability requirements.
- Create architecture documentation, diagrams, and design standards to support project implementation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Azure Certified Architect (or relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Extensive experience designing and implementing Azure PaaS solutions (e.g., App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL).
- Strong experience with Jenkins migration and pipeline optimization.
- Hands-on expertise with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Terraform, etc.).
- Proficiency in cloud architecture design, integration, and automation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex architecture challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud security best practices.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise migrations and transformations
