Humacyte’s initial opportunity, a portfolio of Acellular Tissue Engineered Vessel (ATEVs), is currently approved for use in vascular trauma repair and is in late-stage clinical trials targeting multiple other applications including AV access for hemodialysis and peripheral arterial disease. Preclinical development is also underway in coronary artery bypass grafts, pediatric heart surgery, treatment of type 1 diabetes, and multiple novel cell and tissue applications. Humacyte’s 6mm ATEV for AV access in hemodialysis was the first product candidate to receive the FDA’s Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy (RMAT) designation and has also received FDA Fast Track designation. JOB SUMMARY :
The Systems Engineer will support the implementation and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, collaborating with the team to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operations. This role will assist in cloud migration initiatives, system maintenance, and technical support while working under the guidance of senior team members to deliver solutions that meet business needs and compliance requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Assist in assessing and implementing IT infrastructure improvements, including supporting the transition from on-premises to cloud services under senior leadership guidance
- Help maintain and test disaster recovery procedures for critical systems and data using tools like Veeam Backup & Replication
- Monitor and maintain system health using enterprise monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance and proactive issue resolution
- Execute system changes and updates while minimizing disruption to business operations
- Document infrastructure configurations and maintain technical documentation
- Provide technical support and collaborate with the helpdesk team to resolve complex issues
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement technical solutions
- Support vendor management and assist in evaluating technology solutions
