What are the responsibilities and job description for the RF (Radio Frequency) Microwave Technician position at Human Bees?
We are seeking an RF Microwave Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will assist in the research, design and development of electrical components and systems.
In this position the RF technician will take part in installing, maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting electronic equipment that operates within the radio frequency (RF) and microwave spectrum, often including tasks like aligning, tuning, and repairing components and devices that transmit and receive radio waves at high frequencies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and install electrical components and systems
- Assess and modify existing power distribution systems
- Troubleshoot relay and data system designs
- Research and document relay test results
- Use specialized test equipment like spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and network analyzers to measure signal strength, frequency accuracy, and other parameters, calibrating equipment as needed
- Track project time lines to complete tasks on schedule
- Ensure reliable operation of equipment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
- Familiarity with electrical diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of relay design standards
- Excellent root cause analysis skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
