Director of Childcare

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Director of Childcare to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and creating a safe, nurturing environment for them to learn and grow.

Duties

• Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
• Provide basic caregiving tasks such as feeding, diapering, and comforting children
• Foster positive relationships with children to encourage their social and emotional development
• Lead start up of center/staff
• Setting up Classrooms
• Implement daily operations
• Manage budgeting
• Staffing Enrollment
• Ensure compliance with licensing/safety regulations
• Collaborate with Owner to drive center's vision and mission
  
  

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a childcare setting
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
• Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Education background in Early Childhood Education or related field is a plus
  
  

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
