Summary:
Our client is working on an exciting project relating to drilling. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various construction projects specifically drilling from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of project management principles, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with client expectations. This role requires effective communication with stakeholders, meticulous planning, and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
General Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and clearly communicating and guide the crews.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and address any issues that arise.
- Manage contracts and negotiate terms with vendors and subcontractors.
- Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency throughout the process.
- Utilize construction estimating techniques to prepare budgets and manage costs effectively.
- Review blueprints and schematics to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Associates or Bachelor of Science in Geology, Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or related area of study.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License
- Over 5 years Project Management experience in Construction ideally in geotechnical industry, geological fields
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings.
- Experience with Civil 3D software for design and analysis tasks.
- Strong background in construction management principles and practices.
- Must complete the OSHA 10-Hour Safety course within the first month of employment.
- Familiarity with contract management processes within the construction industry.
- Ability to build effective relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Competence in construction estimating techniques for accurate budgeting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for successful project execution.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written for clear reporting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $79,000.00 per year
