SQL BI Developer (hybrid)

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analytics professional to join our client to be part of a great team. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights. This role will involve working with various databases, analyzing complex datasets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making.

Duties

• Design and maintain database structures to ensure optimal data storage and retrieval.
• Utilize SQL for querying databases and extracting relevant data for analysis.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical solutions.
• Employ tools such as Power BI to create visually compelling reports and dashboards that communicate findings effectively.
• Implement ETL processes using Talend to ensure data integrity and availability for analysis.
• Participate in Agile project management methodologies to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Use VBA for automating repetitive tasks and improving efficiency in data handling processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or specialized training/certification) or equivalent relevant experience
• 5 years of working experience in a data analytics role with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in database design and management, data virtualization tool experience (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL for database querying and manipulation is essential.
• Advanced Excel skills, including macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
• Experience in Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools is essential.
• 3 years of working experience working cross-functionally (e.g., with marketing, sales, product, and operations) to understand business needs and align data projects with organizational goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
