We are seeking a customer-focused team player to work on-site in a mission-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a willingness to interface with multiple teams.
Focus : Collaborate with various DoD entities on cybersecurity strategy, design, development, and implementation of IT systems that enhance the security of DoD information systems and mission-critical data.
Qualifications :
- Active TS / SCI Clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph.
- Proficiency in methods, standards, and approaches for describing, analyzing, and documenting enterprise IT architecture (e.g., TOGAF, DoDAF).
- Experience in conducting architecture reviews to ensure network security architecture concepts (including topology, protocols, components, and principles) are correctly applied.
- Ability to align standards, frameworks, and security with overall business and technology strategy.
- Expertise in identifying and communicating current and emerging security threats and designing architecture elements to mitigate these threats.
- Capability to create solutions balancing business requirements with information and cyber security requirements (confidentiality, integrity, availability, and non-repudiation).
- Skilled in identifying security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommending changes or enhancements.
- Strategic direction setting for information security initiatives, processes, and standards.
- Research and evaluation of next-generation security technologies and concepts.
- Participation in project meetings to provide security and governance input throughout project lifecycles.
- Documentation and addressing of organization's information security, cybersecurity architecture, and systems security engineering requirements throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
- Input to the risk management framework process activities and related documentation.
- Evaluation of security architectures and designs to determine the adequacy of security design and architecture proposed or provided in response based on identified requirements.
- Translation of proposed capabilities into technical requirements.
