POSITION TITLE: Business Analyst - ( Pro Life Mission )
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt ( 65K - 80K DOE )
TYPE: Full time ( Weekdays )
REPORTS TO: IT Director
SUMMARY:
The Business Analyst is an integral part to assist Human Coalition achieve its mission of existing to rescue children and serve families across America. Human Coalition is an innovative, energetic, compassion-driven non-profit organization with the purpose to end abortion.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Transform ideas and concepts into functional tools- Accelerate operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
- Conduct, coordinate, and present financial, market, operational and related analyses/research to management for use in decision making and strategic planning
- Perform infrastructure audits, quality assurance testing, and end-user testing
- Communicate with stakeholders to design solutions for business problems/challenges
- Suggest changes to management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
- Work closely with Project Managers to define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements
- Produce documentation as needed to support job functions, including business and/or design requirements, analyses/findings/learnings, best practices, how-to guides, etc.
- Promote knowledge sharing through regular training
- Create technical, informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
- Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues; troubleshoot and educate stakeholders on findings and recommendations
- Improve systems by studying current practices and usage against each systems' capabilities and design modification proposals
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
- Search for opportunities to equip department leaders with helpful job aids and tools that close identified gaps
- Assess and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes
- Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Passionately aligned with the mission and vision of Human Coalition- Comfortable in creating trusting relationships within all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Desire to serve others
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1-5 years experience in Data Analytics/Business Analytics
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics or equivalent combination of education and experience
Prefer some technical certifications or coursework
Advanced in Excel, Salesforce and Tableau.
Prefer exposure to SOQ
Prefer an understanding of change management/ project management principles and methodology
